I learned my craft by studying for a number of years with Copley Master Mark Hayden of Bradford, MA. I have won a number of awards for my work and many of my paintings now reside in private collections. My work has also been accepted in a number of juried shows, throughout New England. I spent a number of years concentrating solely on portraiture, but in recent years have become more interested in the landscape and still life form and am now actively involved with “The Newburyport Ten”, plein air painting group with the Newburyport Art Assoc. www.newburyportten.com . My landscapes depict scenes from Massachusetts north shore, New Hampshire, Vermont, Monhegan Island and Mt. Desert Island, Maine as well as Ireland and the Yukon Territory in Canada. I work primarily in oil, but also in watercolor, pastel and pen & ink.
